Since the last two years, a number of car brands from China have begun to focus on developing high-tech electric vehicles. In fact, some of them openly admit that they are ready to destroy the market that Tesla has recently mastered.

Facing Tesla in the electric car market is certainly not an easy job .
Because, there are a number of things that must be owned by a vehicle, ranging from superior features, powerful engines, to a competitive price tag.

Interestingly, recently, a number of automotive brands from China, such as Polestar, Xpeng, NIO, IM Motors, Li Auto and R Auto have made deals with NVIDIA to use their advanced chips. These components will be intended to support autonomous technology and features in vehicles.

The sophistication of the NVIDIA chip has been tested in the Xpeng X7 car. In fact, thanks to this technology, the autonomous system runs better and maximally than the cars made by Tesla.

Disitat VIVA Otomotif from Reuters, Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at the CES 2022 technology conference, NVIDIA representatives also mentioned that there are many non-automotive companies from China who have contacted them to use their chips.

Nevertheless, NVIDIA has to think about the political situation between the US and China. Moreover, the technology initiated by the company allows the exchange of automotive user data in the Bamboo Curtain country, for example on the autonomous driving system.

Reportedly, to prevent this from happening, NVIDIA uses Chinese partners and local data centers to ensure data used in artificial intelligence (AI) systems stays in China.
